Who are you?
My name is Trelldot, and I am a multimedia artist rooted in Eastern North Carolina.

How would you describe your practice?
I describe myself as multidimensional creative. I've been combining photography, animation, collage, and augmented reality to make work that bridges traditional and new practices. I'm a curious, competitive, and restless person, so I'm always trying new things.

Where do you see your practice going from here?
For me, creating things is an act of trying to get free. My practice will continue expanding as I learn to express myself in more authentic ways.

Why do you make work?
I keep my younger brothers and sisters in mind when I'm making things. Beyond that, I want to reach people who will be here long after I pass on. If my work could somehow reach and empower people generations after me, I don't think i could ask for anything more!
